the time, flying to pick it up and driving it back would be far cheaper than covered transport. As long as you can book your flight a week or more in advance, even if you include the cost of a thorough mechanical inspection, a couple of nights in moderately price motels, gas and food, you'll save money. Plus you get to check out the car in person before you close the deal. Flying and driving to pick up a TT 2200 miles away took me a total of 3 1/2 days. Oh, you might want to figure in the cost of speeding tickets if you choose to DIY.
